Killingworth Football Club

Killingworth Football Club works closely with selected partner companies to help provide further footballing opportunites, both to our club members but also the local, (and wider), community. From specialised football coaching and trial days to full time educational programmes that incorpororate football.

AAA Coaching Academy

The club works closely with AAA Coaching Academy who provide opportunities for children of all abilities to enjoy an engaging, safe and welcoming environment as part of their first football experience. Upon reaching the age of 6, children can then progress into one of the Killingworth FC’s mini soccer teams before then moving into junior grassroots football.

Along with the introduction to football, AAA Coaching Academy also offer advanced training sessions with UEFA qualified coaches for boys and girls aged 10 - 14 as well as school holiday camps.

Football Scouting North East provide highly competitive events designed to highlight top football talent in structured, professional environments. Head Safe Football are committed to the well-being of football players at every level. Their approach is holistic, integrating rigorous scientific research with practical, on-the-ground implementation. Head Safe Football aim to minimise the risks associated with heading in football, a practice that has been linked to long-term cognitive issues and other health concerns, including CTE brain disease.

As a forward thinking club who prioritise their player's welfare, Killingworth Football Club are proud to work with Head Safe Football and be the first ever Head Safe Football Trailblazer! CHARITY PARTNER: MUHORONI PEOPLE'S FOUNDATION

Muhoroni People’s Foundation is a registered charity set up to aid the people of Muhoroni, a small rural town in Kisumu County, Western Kenya. The charity rely solely on individual contributions in the form of child sponsorship, one-time donations and the purchase of their handmade baskets.

The foundation works in partnership with the local community of Muhoroni, Western Kenya, bringing hope for a better future by improving health, education and alleviating poverty. Millions of people in Western Africa live just on or just above the poverty line. With the slightest shock or crisis it knocks them below the poverty line. We exist as a volunteer organisation to take action where it is needed.

PRO:DIRECT Academy Newcastle is based at Killingworth Football Club. The academy offers a full time education programme to 16 - 18 year olds and takes advantage of the excellent facilities Killingworth FC have to offer at Amberley Park.

• Our educational providers and tutor will deliver an extended NCFE Level 3 in Sport over two years or a NCFE Level 2 in sport over one year
• The NCFE Level 2 allows you to progress to Level 3 if you don’t have the required entry GCSEs
• The NCFE Level 3 extended diploma is equivalent to 3 A-Levels
• We require students to gain a minimum 3-5 gcses 9 to 4 to enrol on the Level 3
• Students that do not gain GCSE grade 9 to 4 in Maths and English will be enrolled on functional skills or a re-sit qualification as is now compulsory in the UK
• 12 hours of NCFE Level 3 study over three days - minimum
• Our education and training takes place at killingworth football club with onsite classroom, 3g facility, grass pitches, changing rooms and clubhouse
